Business on Top

WFH has made life a little easier I guess in the mornings, for me not having to get up super early to get my train to London. It has also made it easier to be lazy and look unprofessional. So, I wanted a look that said I did get out of bed for this zoom call hours ago!

What says I’m ready more than a white shirt? Bite Studios has this beautiful organic silk shirt that would transitioning out of bed worth it! Careful research is done into finding the finest quality material to create sustainable clothes.

A blazer done right is this Ginger & Smart Imperial Blazer. The structure and print give it that sophisticated look whilst being slightly oversized gives it a more relaxed feel. For Ginger & Smart, ethical and sustainable practices has been there its beginning back in 2002. They create such beautiful timeless pieces you know you’d wear over and over again.

Being home I’m not really wanted to wear anything that feel ‘restricting’ so I’d grab these Nagnata shorts so I can still be relaxed. These ones are the Balati rib biker shorts in cream made with superfine merino wool. Nagnata pushes the boundaries in sustainably minded design. They believe to be sustainable you don’t need to sacrifice style.

Now I just LOVE Veja trainers. These one for me bring out the ‘from home’ side of WFH. Trendy and comfortable, it really brings out the colour from the blazer.

With Emma Aitchison Jewellery you can finish off the look to make it more playful. This is the 50/50 earrings and the Swash necklace.

With a business on top look, no one will ever know you were rocking shorts and trainers on your zoom call. Plus, at the end of the day, shirt & blazer off and on goes the hoodie. Why not try this look for when things go back to normal too?

Take care and stay safe
